Most lotions are 80% water and petroleum byproducts dressed up in premium packaging. I built DAMN because I got tired of paying for ingredients I couldn't pronounce to do a job they were never really designed to do.
Your skin is the largest organ on your body — 22 square feet of it. It absorbs everything you put on it. I thought that deserved better than mineral oil and synthetic stabilizers.
DAMN is built on four ingredients. Rosehip seed oil. Shea butter. Grass-fed Beef tallow. Vitamin E. That's the entire formula. Every ingredient is something that grew from the earth or came from an animal raised on grass. Nothing was synthesized in a lab. Nothing needs a chemistry degree to understand.
Tallow specifically is the reason this works the way it does. It shares almost the exact same fatty acid profile as the fat your skin already produces naturally. Your body recognizes it. Absorbs it. Doesn't fight it. Every synthetic moisturizer on the market is trying to imitate what tallow does naturally.
